Jacky
Edes is a Chartered Physiotherapist with 25 years experience in treating musculo-skeletal
disorders. She trained as a Body Control Pilates teacher in 1999 and
specialises in spinal pain, osteoarthritis, sports injuries, repetitive
strain injury, osteoporosis and women’s health.
‘I continue to be impressed with the
results that a Pilates programme can achieve in both rehabilitation and on
a more general level. Pilates is taught in either small group classes or
on an individual basis where the session can be tailored to the
individual's needs taking into account the clients medical history.’
Jacky firmly believes that Pilates
complements her work as a physiotherapist, helping patients achieve long
term solutions to their problems.

'I've had weekly Pilates sessions with Jacky for over two years and can
thoroughly recommend them. Jacky the Physiotherapist and Jacky the
Pilates teacher are a winning combination. And not only does Jacky know
what she is doing professionally, she is also a cheerful, positive
person. Pilates sessions with her are worthwhile - and fun!'
